SCRF catalysts integrate SCR functionality directly onto a diesel particulate filter (DPF), combining NOx reduction and particulate filtration into a single unit. These catalysts typically employ both copper and iron as active components on a ceramic or metallic DPF substrate.
The Cu-Fe SCR coating leverages TiO₂ as the primary support, with copper providing excellent low-temperature activity and iron enhancing high-temperature performance. This dual-metal design allows the SCRF to maintain high NOx conversion across a broad temperature range while simultaneously supporting passive or active DPF regeneration.
